Singapore African Mahogany for a world-top-ten African cafe…in Singapore. Confused?! The owners moved here from Kenya & couldn’t believe we had solid slabs of African Mahogany - unfortunately, due to it’s high value, it’s now rare & endangered in Africa & they hadn’t see such beautiful pieces for years.

Knowing the wood’s value, & our non-habitat destroying source from Singapore-landscaping work, they used the biggest pieces we could find throughout the restaurant - & we found some big trees that were being cut for widening the PIE in Bukit Timah & development at Changi Airport.
